What led you to CrossFit?
My wife, Teresa let me to CrossFit. She did it for about 2 years before I joined, and I got to see how much she enjoyed it.
What is your favorite WOD?
Honestly, I like Murph. Yeah, it’s an ass-kicker, and yes I have to scale, but when I am done, I feel really good
What are your CrossFit Goals?
My goals when I started, and are still the same are to get stronger and lose weight. I’m not trying to compete….my competition days are way behind me, but I want to get stronger and healthier. I want to be able to enjoy living for as many years as God gives me!
How has CrossFit impacted your life?
In the 11 months that I have done CrossFit, I have seen small subtle changes in my health. I have lost a little weight, but I have seen more changes in my body composition. I weigh about the same, but that weight is in different places, now!! I have seen the biggest impact in my Cardio fitness level. I went mountain biking a few weeks ago on trails that I hadn’t ridden since joining CrossFit Hixson. The difference was noticeable! I love CrossFit, it is the only gym/fitness program that I have stuck with consistently. I love the coaches, and the people who work out with me. The personal relationships and positive feedback are what keep me going. I Love CrossFit Hixson!!
